A special edition Titanic dvd signed by the youngest survivor, Millvena Dean, who was nine weeks old when the famous cruise liner hit an iceberg and sank, is to be sold at Halls Collective Auction next month.

The signed dvd is part of a consignment of nine lots from a Shropshire couple who have collected autographs and presentation material at major film premieres in both the UK and America over the past 30 years.
The lots, which also include a signed presentation of the film Jaws by author Peter Benchley, are expected to fetch around £1,000 when they go under the hammer in Halls’ 600-lot collective auction at the Welsh Bridge saleroom in Shrewsbury on May 23.
Other films represented in the collection are Reservoir Dogs, Ghostbusters, Jurassic Park, Sleepy Hollow, Moonraker and Star Trek.
Other entries in the auction include rare books illustrated by popular late 19th century and early 20th century children’s books illustrator Arthur Rackham. A limited edition of ‘Aesop’s Fables’ is valued at up to £900 and a ‘Undine’ is expected to fetch around £500.
Consigned by a Market Drayton vendor and valued at up to £1,200 is a 67 feet long folding strip of hand-coloured aquatints representing ‘The Funeral Procession of the Duke of Wellington’, which is contained within its original red cloth portfolio from 1852.
The auction’s furniture section features an upright piano with a rosewood case and brass sconces by G. Bechstein, Berlin with a frame number 55923. Entered by a South Shropshire vendor, the piano is valued at up to £1,500.
Entered by a Shrewsbury vendor is a good quality, contemporary, red leather, three seater sofa valued at up to £400, two Knoll sofas valued at up to £300 each and a pair of cream leather tub chairs at up to £300. The section will also include an interesting selection of reproduction and period furniture.
