MAY 31ST 2019

Kidderminster Machinery Sale was held on the 31st May 2019 and saw a large quantity of entries which included a large proportion of genuine off farm machinery. The tremendous quantity and quality of entries were accompanied by good weather and an enthusiastic crowd. The Top seller for the day was a New Holland 570 Conventional Baler in mint condition which topped at £4,750. In the Vehicle Section the Massey Ferguson 135 which had come from a market farm reached heights of £3,300 whilst the 2007 Mitsubishi L200 topped at £2,100. A much-improved Trailer Entry saw prices of £1,000 achieved for both a Brian James Car Trailer and Ifor Williams Dropsided Trailer. The Rice Stock Trailer c/w Sheep Decks also saw a good trade topping at £600.

 The large quantity of Genuine off farm machinery also saw good trade with most items finding a new home. Top price implement for the day was the New Holland Conventional Baler, not far behind was the Vicon RB16 Round Baler at £4,100. Else where there was good trade for Mowers with the Krone Easycut 3200CV topping at £1,650, the Lely 2.40 Mower Condition at £1,500, and the JF Stoll GX 3205 Mower Conditioner at £1,300. May also saw a good entry of Toppers with prices starting at £300 and increasing to £1,250, the top price was achieved for a Kidd 280 9’ Topper, whilst the Bomford Falcon 3m Flail Topper was close behind at £1,100. Other Notable sales were the Richard Weston 10T FYM Spreader at £2,450, The Kuhn 3m Power Harrow at £1,950.

The good prices continued throughout both the Small Tools & Garden and Building sections with the large selection of mowers experiencing particularly good trade and a highest price of £1,200 being achieved for a Husqvarna 4x4 Mower. There were a further 5 mowers which sold for excess of £500 including the Saxon Triple Cut Mower, the Toro 0 Turn 38”, the Countax C300, the Cub Cadet z Force and the Husqvarna YTM210XP Lawn Tractor.  Elsewhere in these sections there was an Industrial Shot Blasting Cabinet that reached heights of £460 and 8 Security Panels which fetched £308.  Further sale highlights can be found below.
