Halls Holdings Ltd were kindly instructed to conduct a genuine dispersal sale of the most immaculate livestock and arable equipment by Ed and Julie Green of Yew Tree Farm, Chorley, Bridgnorth. The sale took place on Thursday 3rd September where despite a wet start to the day, the sun came out bringing with it interest from across all of Great Britain on the sale ground and I-bidder.
Lots were low houred and in immaculate condition and were a credit to Ed & Julie. Excellent trade was seen throughout the sale with the stars being the Massey Ferguson S7718 Dyna 6 with a mere 336hrs which topped at £66,750 the Massey Ferguson 6716S C/W loader which reached £60,000 and the Polaris Ranger with 900hrs achieving £13,000. The Massey Ferguson 5613 Dyna 6 achieved £41,000 with the CLAAS Scorpion 7035 not far behind at £40,500.
Elsewhere, excellent trade was seen throughout with the Rare Massey Ferguson 1505 at £19,000, the Opico 630 6.3m Tip Roller at £10,400, the McHale C460 Straw Chopper at £10,000 and the McConnel 1.5m Hy-reach Hedge trimmer at £9,300.
Other prices achieved were; Kverneland Siloking Compact Feed Wagon at £8,350, the Ifor Williams Tri-Axle Cattle Trailer at £4,600 with the two 14t AW Trailers reaching prices over £13,000 apiece.
By kind permission, the sale also saw a number of entries including the New Holland TD5.105 4WD Tractor at £23,600, the New Holland TL100A 4WD Tractor c/w Quicke Q55 Loader at £16,850. A round-up of all the sales can be seen below.
