
Our Shrewsbury Plant & Machinery Sale attracted nearly 1,100 entries, and a top price of £25,500, earlier this month.
A clearance rate of 78% was reported, with unsold lots being reoffered in an online timed sale which is proving very popular with buyers.
Highlights of the sale included a 2001 John Deere 7710 4WD PowerQuad with 9,000 hours which sold for £25,500 from a genuine Welsh farm. A Pottinger Top 842C Twin Rotor Rake from a Shropshire contractor sold for £14,000 and a 2018 New Holland T4.65 2WD with 4,610hrs from a Shrewsbury dealership achieved £13,000.


Other leading prices were £12,500 each for a 2019 Doosan Dx 27 2.7 Ton Mini Digger with three buckets and a Deutz Agroplus 100 4wd C/W Mx Loader and Bucket with 6,600 hours, £12,000 for an Abbey 3000 slurry tanker with trailing shoe and £8,000 for a Cat 301 – 86 1.7 ton excavator and plant trailer.
